LYDIA CILLIE-SCHMIDT

Lydia has been functioning as an independent consultant since July 2008. She has more than 30 years’ experience as an industrial psychologist and leader, working as a permanent employee for major corporate companies in South Africa. She has worked at Vodacom as a leader in Human Resources Development, taking responsibility for the total function and implementation of the company’s Human Capital Development- and Talent development strategy.   Before this she worked at companies like the Department of Post-and Telecommunications, Sasol and the SABC. As an independent consultant she has worked in various public and private sector organisations.

She has expertise is several aspects of the Talent Management process, e.g. Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition (including selection and on-boarding), Succession Management, Leadership/Management Development, Assessment Centres, Performance Management, Training, Mentorship, Career Management and Talent Management Strategy. She has also gained extensive experience in Organisation Design, focusing on organisation diagnostics, business process mapping, role profiling, service delivery models and structural design. She is also the sole partner for Learning Paths International and Appraisal Smart in South Africa.

Lydia is very involved in the capability building of HR professionals and has designed and presented several workshops in this regard.

Lydia has also been writing medico-legal reports to assess the employment prospects and earnings potential of subjects involved in accidents or in divorce cases. To date she has completed more than a hundred reports regarding motor vehicle and other accidents, as well as more than 15 divorce cases.

She is the owner of The Talent Hub and a partner in The Talent Hub International. The Talent Hub’s focus areas include the design and implementation of integrated Talent Management programmes, Organisation design,  the design and implementation of Assessment Centres, psychometric assessments, career development, the design and presentation of training programmes, coaching, mentoring, management of learnerships/internships, performance management, learning path development, succession development, organisation design & development.

SUSAN LONDON

Consultant

Susan worked on projects with a number of consultants in the HR industry on assessments, business coaching, graduate development, mentorship, performance management, recruitment, facilitation, succession planning, talent projects etc. She has done work with The Talent Hub, Precision, Lemasa and others.

Susan gained valuable experience at Vodacom, and coordinated and managed the following projects:  Co-Ordination of Executive Coaching, Succession Development, Graduate Programme for Females in Technology, Women in Leadership Programme. Performance Management, Facilitation, Orientation, Non-SA performance consulting, Learnership co-ordination and implementation, SAP administration, Vendor management and adhoc projects.  As a consultant at The Talent Hub Susan has worked on implementing and facilitating Learning Paths, Performance Management and other strategic projects.

Psychometric test qualifications include:

ELIZE VAN WYK

General Experience
Elize is a hard worker and an excellent people manager.  She is computer literate, independent and reliable.  She has the ability to multitask and is always willing to learn.  She is resilient and has superb organizing skills.

Work Experience
Elize started her career working at Matlosana Municipality as a clerk.  She was responsible for all correspondence and distribution to the correct departments.  She also worked at SARS as a clerk in the Registration Department.  She then worked as a front desk receptionist at a dentist for almost 17 years where she had to manage the smooth running of the practice. For the past six years Elize was in the role of Office Administrator for The Talent Hub. She has been appointed as Office Manager for both The Talent Hub and The Talent Hub International in 2016.

Elize has the ability to work in a team as well as independently.  She is confident, innovative and can work well under pressure.  She has excellent administrative and communication skills.   She responds avidly to customer requirements and tasks on hand.

 ADELA BOOTHA

How Adela forged her path…
Adela has 20 years experience as a psychometrist. She started off working in the Banking sector, moved to retail and spent a large part of her corporate work life at South Africa’s largest cellular network. Here she took on the role of Psychometrist and Organisational Development Specialist for the Group of Companies. She travelled extensively within the country conducting psychological assessments for Team Buildings, Career Counseling and Self Development of staff. Additionally, she conducted psychological assessments for the staff in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She participated in many Organisational Development projects and facilitated some of the bigger ones such as the Employment Equity Report and Plans for the organisation, as well as running tenders for the Human Resources Department of the organisation. Adela was exposed to and worked closely with, two of South Africa’s largest Psychological Assessment providers, viz SHL (Saville and Holdsworth) and JvR (Jopie Van Rooyen and Partners).

NATANYA RUTSTEIN

In 1998 she began her career in Human Resources Development at Vodacom where she worked her way through all aspects of the function until finding her passion in HR Information Systems.

In 2012, she moved into consulting and joined forces with the former Vodacom Executive Head of Learning and Development and Talent Hub founder Dr Lydia Cillie-Schmidt. Natanya has consulted on a wide range of projects at SAA, The Gautrain Management Agency, SARS, HRG Rennies Travel, GEMS, RTIA and many more.

She has a special interest in the development of learning paths utilising the principles of micro-learning and nano-coaching. Natanya is passionate about creating employee learning experiences which are asynchronous, bite sized and which can be delivered and integrated across multiple technology platforms and devices. She enjoys bringing them to life through the utilisation of the enticing elements of gamification!

Natanya graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BA Degree in Industrial Psychology and Law and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Wits Business School.

We have extensive experience in the talent management arena and assisted several clients in implementing aspects of our Integrated Talent Management Framework.
